"Our Sunday slow cooked lamb stew, a family secret."
500 grams of neck of lamb
1 stick of spring onion
1 onion (diced)
2 cloves of crushed garlic
Sprinkle of chilli powder
Sprinkle of oregano
1 lamb stock
Dash of soya sauce
Red sweet peppers (finely chopped)
Minettes Gourmet Dry Marinade (Beef and Steak)
Cut pieces of lamb into small pieces, place in bowl. Cut spring onion and other ingredients, add to lamb and season with Minettes Gourmet Dry Marinade.
Cover with cling film and place in fridge to marinate for 30 mins (you can season over night, for more flavour).
Add olive oil to pan and heat slowly, add lamb with ingredients. Turn lamb to brown (medium heat).
Add water bring to boil add lid and simmer for 2/30 hours, until meat is soft. Adding water as needed. Taste add seasoning as needed.
Serve with white rice, vegetables, roasts potatoes and salad.
